On Thursday, March 20, 2003, FIU Libraries School Media Specialist Adis Beesting met with fourth grade students from Bowman Ashe Elementary School to share kid-friendly resources on the Everglades ecosystem. Students learned where to look on the Internet for habitat, species, and general Everglades National Park information as well as how to tell the difference between crocodiles and alligators and what satellite images of south Florida look like.
