Creepy Crawlies

Creepy Crawlies
By: Evan Rosenthal

In the Creepy Crawlies section of the Everglades Reach program we worked with a number of insects and other creatures. The first thing we had to do was make a crayon rubbing of a snake's skin. The skin had patterns and shapes on it. The second thing we had to do was match the wings of the four butterflies with the name. Two of the butterflies included were the Monarch and the Zebra. The following activity we did was to see how the dragon fly would see an object with it's compound eyes. The compound eyes replicated the images. I don't know how I could see like that! I really enjoyed the Creepy Crawlies station.
